Why Choose Fetch?
Fetch is one of the few family-owned specialty and emergency practices offering an exceptional training program in a supportive, mentorship-driven environment. As a participant, you'll gain:
• Eight Months of Direct Supervision
Work side-by-side with experienced emergency clinicians and specialists, receiving hands-on training and real-time mentorship. This designated eight-month mark may be altered to best meet your needs and these discussions will involve you, your mentors, and the medical director.
• Transition to Autonomy
Begin managing cases independently, while working alongside experienced ER doctors and specialists.
• Indirect Supervision
Build autonomy while working alongside experienced clinicians, continuing to receive tailored mentorship and support as needed.
• Specialty Service Rotations
Participate in two-week rotations in key specialties, including internal medicine, surgery, oncology and critical care.
• Balanced Schedule
During your two-year program, follow an associate ER clinician schedule, working 12 shifts every 28 days. You'll always have support while gradually taking on more decision-making responsibilities. Our Criticalists are also on the floor 7 days per week to provide any extra support you need.
• Didactic Training
Attend weekly rounds during the first year, featuring a mix of general ER topics and specific case reviews. Continue to enhance your skills with monthly topic rounds and wet labs.
